An Important Update for TanTan Users in Singapore,
United States, Canada and Australia

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Before taking any action, please bind your contact number or email address to your existing TanTan account.
For over a decade, TanTan has been at the forefront of online dating space and a prominent brand representing Asian dating scene. As we move into the next phase of modern dating, we’re excited to share a major update that marks the beginning of an improved and customized user experience for all our international users.
To better serve our global community moving forward, from 1 July 2025, we will gradually invite all international users from the existing TanTan application to the new International version. The transition will begin with TanTan users in Singapore, Canada, United States and Australia!

We’re upgrading to make sure TanTan evolves with you. Our goal? This move allows our team to focus on improving the TanTan experience—designed specifically for our international community. Expect better matches, a safer space to connect, and exciting new features built just for you in the future.
We understand that downloading and re-installing a new app might seem like a hassle — but we’re committed to making it as easy as possible. More importantly, we will ensure that all your personal data and profile details (including likes, matches, and chats) currently stored with us will be securely transfer to the new app. All we need from you is simply your consent, and we will do the rest for you!
Please note that the TanTan (old version) will no longer be available on the App Store and Playstore in Singapore, Canada, United States and Australia from 1 July 2025. After 30 September 2025, the old TanTan app will no longer be accessible for users in the US, Canada, Australia, and Singapore.

If you are located in Singapore, US, Canada, Australia. You are required to switch to our new TanTan App.

The new app is available on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

To make your move to the new TanTan smooth and drama-free, users who log in with third-party providers (like Facebook, Apple, etc.) will need to link a mobile number or email on the old TanTan app. This way, you can log in to the new TanTan easily and keep your account just the way it is.
Haven’t linked your number or email yet? No worries—just pop into the old TanTan app and do it now to keep your TanTan journey going strong!
Benefits & Subscriptions

Once TanTan users in Singapore successfully sign in to the new international TanTan app, you’ll receive up to 5 free Super Likes and 1 Boost — on us.

Once you download the new TanTan app, your subscription benefits will carry over automatically.
Billing will still be managed through the original TanTan app, so there’s no risk of being double charged — and there’s nothing extra you need to do. Just sign in and continue enjoying everything you’re already subscribed to.
Location & Travel

Yes, you’ll still be able to view profiles, meet new people, and stay connected while traveling abroad.
For example, if your last location was Singapore and you travel to Thailand, the new TanTan app will automatically update your location — so you can continue meeting new friends wherever you go. -
After this date, the old TanTan app will no longer be accessible for users in the US, Canada, Australia, and Singapore.
Instead, you’ll see a prompt to download the new TanTan app.To continue using your existing account, make sure your phone number or email was linked on the old app. If it wasn’t, you won’t be able to log in — but you can still create a new account on the new app and start fresh.
